a.   Take and pass the TEAS test with ATI.

b.  Download the Application.  Complete it and mail it in with all the required documents to Practical Nurse Program.

c.  Once you have passed the ATI TEAS test and all necessary documentation is received, you will be contacted to schedule an interview.  (It is the applicants responsibility to confirm receipt of all documents.)

d.  The PN Admission Committee meets monthly.  A letter will be sent to each applicants home.

e.  After accepted into the program, download and complete the Health Clearance Form with your doctor.

The program runs from August through June and is full time days from 7:50 a.m. - 2:20 p.m., following the high school calendar.  Occasionally an evening or weekend is necessary for clinical practice.

The Health Clearance form is due on the first day of school, to include all immunizations.  The TB 2 Step must be complete within 6 months of the start of school.

You must have your CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross provider by the first day of school.

If you went to high school (and college) outside of the USA, please contact CED (1-617-338-7171) to have an equivalency review completed. CED will forward the results directly to Assabet.

When the class is full.  APPLY NOW!  We have a rolling admission.

Yes, Assabet offers several tests throughout the year.  You may test a maximum of 5 times within a school year and there must be a minimum of 30 days between tests.

There are no prerequisites.  If you have successfully completed any college courses or certificate program, have that school send us your transcripts.  Courses are not required but do add credit to your admission score.
