Admission to the program requires each student have their own laptop.  The laptop should be fully charged (bring your charger just in case!) and ready for use on the first day of class.  Click HEREfor specific requirements.

No credits may be transferred to the LPN program.

The program runs from August through June and is full time days from 7:50 a.m. - 2:20 p.m., following the high school calendar.  Occasionally an evening or weekend is necessary for clinical practice.

The Health Clearance form is due on the first day of school, to include all immunizations.  The TB 2 Step must be complete within 6 months of the start of school.

There are no prerequisites.  If you have successfully completed any college courses or certificate program, have that school send us your transcripts.  Courses are not required but do add credit to your admission score.

a.   Take and pass the TEAS test with ATI.

b.  Download the Application.  Complete it and mail it in with all the required documents to Practical Nurse Program.

c.  Once you have passed the ATI TEAS test and all necessary documentation is received, you will be contacted to schedule an interview.  (It is the applicants responsibility to confirm receipt of all documents.)

d.  The PN Admission Committee meets monthly.  A letter will be sent to each applicants home.

e.  After accepted into the program, download and complete the Health Clearance Form with your doctor.

You must have your CPR certification (including AED) by the first day of school.

Yes, Assabet offers several tests throughout the year.  You may test a maximum of 5 times within a school year and there must be a minimum of 30 days between tests.
